Housewife?

What exactly defines housewife? It is the squeaky clean images we recall from Leave it to Beaver? I think NOT. I am new to this whole "housewife" thing. I am still trying to figure it all out. After being married for over a year I started to think, "What exactly am I suppose to do?" My husband is not expecting June Cleaver and thank him for that. He would be very disappointed. I have taken on this whole housewife title until I complete nursing school. This is my adventure to discover what exactly a "housewife" is! Follow me this should be interesting!
